To do this they established 3 design objectives: substantially reduce noise, eliminate vibrational energy, and increase speed. A tall order, especially after shooting the award winning Hoyt bows of the past. But in the end, Hoyt engineers did just that by building a machine, with every part functioning at the highest level of performance ever achieved in a Hoyt bow. Shot noise was reduced by 5 full decibels, vibrational energy was reduced by 15% and an average of over 10 feet per second increase in speed was achieved.
